I always look forward to weekends and vacations.... and of course the hot SUMMER!!! I have been to Boracay Island a couple of times, and done pretty much everything except for driving a quad.
Driving a quad is not as extreme as the things I have tried before... But it's totally new to me. It's like being a kid again... riding a bike for the first time and cruising up a mountain. (well, growing up in Baguio, I had my own kiddie stories of adventures and misadventures... and have the scars to show for... Teeheehee).
The good thing about driving around the island is that you don't have to worry about huge trucks or speeding cars... Instead, the locals would worry about you speeding and losing control while you're banking around a turn! LOL!!!
Then cruising up Mt. Luho is a blast, not to mention managing the terrain, plus the spectacular view of the island and the water as you go higher. Then there's the down hill drive... opppsss... I keep forgetting the breaks!!! I figured, I'm in a quad anyway, so might as well focus on staying on the road! Can't multi-task too much while admiring the view and driving... Teeheehee
Totally cool must try for everybody! If you don't mind the dust and the heat...
