The news (local) has been a total disappointment and an embarrassment to journalists.
I can never understand what's the deal with the over emphasis on the sex videos of Hayden Kho, everybody has it's hands on the issue so leave it to the experts... We don't need a blow by blow account and all the "he said..." "she said..." BS!
A lot is going on around us and the public does not even know about it!!! For all we know the US armed forces are on every port and air strip in the Philippines and all we care about is what Hayden Kho wore on the hearings...
Yes, we are in the brink of a war which we know nothing about nor is our concern. However, since we are allies (puppets) of the US government we might be the host for their carriers, APCs, planes (not only for SAR), submarines... (aka Balikatan).
Do we even hear about this in the news?
I might be paranoid but hey... it doesn't help that all the news I hear is about a sex video and the increasing lotto pot money. Talk about responsible journalism and prioritizing real issues.
I hope I'm just being paranoid... along with all the people in Al Jazeera.
