On Fish...

Over the years, my friends have pretty much established a profile of the man I'd go out with or have good chemistry.

Some of these basic traits:

1. He should be smart and analytical enough to know that I am not indirectly or directly making fun of him.

I may say something like "Is that shirt from Topman? Hmmm... maybe that's why it has an Italian fitting." (being indirect) or I may say, "Is that shirt from Topman? Hmmm... maybe you should let the Europeans wear it!" (being direct)

2. He should be able to sustain a good conversation. Relating to the activity of choice, like if we watch an experimental film, see a play, visit an art exhibit, go to a book launch, or attend a wine tasting... et.al. Also, being able to make me laugh and laugh at himself is a plus.

3. He should be able to connect with my friends and/or acquaitances. I will most of the time, bump into somebody I know, basic introduction etiquette and make a good impression. Otherwise, he will just be labelled as one of the unidentified dates of Midz.

4. Looks, well that varies... not really very particular on looks. I have a very generic taste. Just like him...
